I started
writing my songs in early December, 1990.
At first, there was not a lot of interest, but little by little I
managed to create my own personal style.
I was first
inspired by Tino Rossi after a broadcast in which he said that to succeed one
had to sing about love.
Then it was
Serge Gainsbourg who said what mattered in a song, was a refrain that we could
remember and sing. Finally,
Jean Marc Pagano, a friend who taught me to rework my text by simplifying and
putting in humor.
This had the effect of
giving birth to the singer that I am, who during his evenings, engages his
audience with joy and good humor.
You can
gain insight by listening to excerpts made available periodically; I will put a
song on the site that you can download if you wish. Any suggestions to improve the content or
format of these pages are welcome.
A big thank
you to everyone encouraging me to continue ...
